Curley v. CoreStates Bank N.A., C.A. No. 97-10-0314
(CCP, Phila. County, 1998) After extensive negotiations and informal discovery regarding the claims at issue, a $2.2 million fund was created to compensate plaintiffs and the members of the Class for insufficient funds charges collected from their accounts as a result of the Bank's policy. Additionally, CoreStates agreed to discontinue processing and paying checks in the manner challenged in the case. The settlement was approved by the Court in September, 1998. |
